ARRI, the international provider of cameras and lighting systems for the motion picture industry, as used for e.g. Hollywood productions requested the migration of the old Orbiter external microsite to their new web system.
Additionally, they wanted to incorporate a new marketing strategy and so fully extend the website.
©All visual material and intellectual property regarding the ARRI Orbiter belong to the ARRI Group.
The original Orbiter microsite consisted of a long landing page and a shorter page providing additional information and technical data about the product.
During the first two years between market launch and the website migration project, Orbiter continued to develop. Software updates improved the product and a lot of additional content was collected from social media or directly from film sets.
At the beginning of the project, we conceptualized new, suitable subpages collaboratively through all the new content. Next mdn determined possible user flows, optimized the web design, assets and copy and eventually created 23 new pages on their new web system.

The project was realized within 2.5 months from concept phase to final release.
Since the release, the website has been continuously expanded and adapted. By migrating to ARRI's new web system, the microsite finally became flexible, quickly adaptable and easy to extend. So that now its content can thrive and will be much harder to become outdated.
